Luban (Arabic: لُبَان) — sometimes called Javi Bakhoor in the GCC retail trade — is the dried resin of Boswellia trees harvested by tapping the bark. Kohenoor International sources hand-sorted resin grades suitable for both fragrance/incense applications and nutraceutical preparations.
Resin selection covers translucent premium grade (silver-amber tears), standard pale grade (commercial incense), and broken / chip grade (industrial extraction). Each grade has distinct olfactory profile suitable for different buyer applications: perfumery houses prefer the premium tears for natural-fragrance compositions; incense compounders use standard and chip grades for traditional Khaleeji bakhoor blends.
HACCP-certified processing, ash content < 8%, foreign-matter < 1.5%, moisture ≤ 10%. SGS COA per shipment includes essential-oil content and gum-resin ratio. Halal Certificate per shipment.
Primary GCC markets: UAE (Dubai re-export hub for perfumery), Saudi Arabia (incense + nutraceutical), Oman (incense compounders, premium grades), Qatar (luxury bakhoor blends). Transit: Jebel Ali 5 days, Sohar 4 days, Jeddah 5–7 days, Doha (Hamad Port) 6 days.
