What is the origin of Kohenoor Flax / Linseed?
Our Flax / Linseed (Linum usitatissimum) are sourced from Pakistan's traditional growing regions. We process and export from our quality-controlled facility, dispatching FOB Karachi or Port Qasim.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ for Flax / Linseed is 1 × 20ft FCL. A standard 20-foot container holds approximately ≈ 22 MT. Smaller LCL shipments are available on request, typically with adjusted pricing.
What purity grade and moisture content do you supply?
Standard grade is 99% purity with ≤ 9% moisture, machine-cleaned and color-sorted. Premium specs available on contract.
Do you provide a phytosanitary certificate?
Yes — every shipment of Flax / Linseed ships with a phytosanitary certificate from the Department of Plant Protection, Government of Pakistan. We also provide Certificate of Origin, Halal certificate, and lab COA on request.
What is the HS code for export?
Flax / Linseed are typically exported under HS code 1204.00. Confirm with your destination customs broker for any tariff concessions.
What packaging options do you offer?
Standard packaging is 25 KG / 50 KG PP-woven food-grade bags on pallets. Premium options include vacuum-sealed cartons, foil-laminated bags, private-label branded packaging, and bulk drums. Custom packaging available with MOQ + 4-week lead time.
What is the shelf life?
Properly dried and stored cool, dry, dark — 24 months. Vacuum-sealed packaging extends this further.
What is the lead time from order to FOB Karachi?
For stock SKUs at standard grade: 7–14 days from PI confirmation. For custom specifications (higher purity, private-label packaging, special grading), allow 21–30 days.
Do you supply free samples?
Yes — we provide 100–250 gram free samples for serious commercial inquiries. Buyer covers air-courier costs (DHL / FedEx). Sample requests are processed within 48 hours.
What payment terms do you accept?
New buyers: 30% advance T/T against PI, 70% against B/L copy. Repeat buyers: open account or LC at sight. We accept USD, EUR, GBP wire transfers.

Is Flax / Linseed Halal-certified?
Yes — as a plant-based product, Flax / Linseed are naturally Halal. Kohenoor International can provide a Halal certificate from a recognized Pakistani body (SANHA, JIC) on request, included free with bulk orders above 5 MT.
