Pakistan's complete herb and spice catalog — fenugreek (methi), fennel (saunf), cumin (zeera), kalonji (nigella), coriander (dhania), ajwain (carom), turmeric (whole and powder), three dried-chilli grades, thyme, dill, juniper, Kashmir saffron, senna leaves and moringa. Halal-certified, ISO 22000, HACCP, aflatoxin-tested. Supplying spice retail brands, blenders, restaurants and traditional medicine houses across 52+ countries.
Pakistan sits in the historical Silk Road and Indian-Subcontinent spice belt, sharing crop-growing geography with India but operating an independent export pipeline with structural advantages for several buyer profiles. Halal supply chain by national law means every spice handler from farm gate through Hyderabad processing to Karachi port operates under Halal-compliant practices — no cross-contamination risk from non-Halal facility lubricants, animal-derived processing aids, or shared equipment. Geographic proximity delivers Karachi → Jebel Ali in 3–5 days, Karachi → Chittagong in 7–10 days, Karachi → Mersin Turkey in 14–18 days — each materially faster and less congested than Mundra (India) or Djibouti (East African origins). SKU breadth in a single supplier means you can consolidate fenugreek, cumin, turmeric, chilli and 12 other SKUs into one container with one set of documents.
The Kohenoor International herbs-and-spices portfolio covers sixteen SKUs serving four buyer-side industries. Food retail brands source private-label retail-pack and bulk-pack whole and ground spices for supermarket and ethnic-store distribution. Spice blenders and curry-paste manufacturers source bulk single-spice volumes for industrial blending plants in the UK, USA, Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, Australia and the Levant. Restaurants and food-service distributors source food-service-pack 5kg/10kg/25kg drums and bags for chain restaurant supply. Traditional medicine houses source whole-spice raw materials for Unani, Ayurveda, TCM and Western herbalist formulations — the senna, fenugreek (galactagogue), turmeric (curcumin extracts), saffron and moringa segments fit here.
Quality framework: ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, Halal certified facility. Every container ships with phytosanitary certificate (Pakistan Department of Plant Protection), Halal certificate (Pakistan Halal Authority / SANHA / IFANCA-equivalent), certificate of origin (TDAP / Chamber of Commerce), commercial invoice, packing list, fumigation certificate, lab COA. Standard COA panel: purity, moisture, foreign matter, admixture, color value (ASTA where applicable), pesticide residue per EU MRL, aflatoxin B1+B2+G1+G2 totals per EU 1881/2006 (< 10 ppb premium / < 20 ppb FDA tolerance), Salmonella nil per 25g, total plate count, yeast and mold. Buyer-specific docs (SASO Saudi, ESMA UAE, BPOM Indonesia retail, FDA Prior Notice USA, EAC Russia/Kazakhstan) arranged on request.
Dried chilli deserves special note. Pakistan supplies three commercial grades from Sindh and Punjab origin: long-stem (Kunri-Sindh whole pod, stem retained for tempering and infusion), long no-stem (same pod with stem removed at processing for grinding lines and curry base — saves processing time at the buyer's end), and round (Sindhi short pod, ASTA color 80–130, often used in spice blends and Indian-style pickling). SHU 30,000–60,000 is the typical buyer expectation; we can supply higher and lower SHU grades on request. Aflatoxin testing per shipment is non-negotiable: EU 1881/2006 limits and GCC food-import standards are met before BL is issued, and lots that fail the test are diverted to lower-tolerance markets or withdrawn from export.
Turmeric from Pakistan reaches 3.0–4.5% curcuminoids in good harvest years (Lakadong-equivalent and Kasur varieties), with premium lots above 5.0%. Color value 90–110 ASTA. We supply whole finger, broken finger, and powder (60/80 mesh standard, custom mesh on order). Curcumin-extraction-grade buyers in the EU and USA source specifically for nutraceutical processing; food-grade buyers source for retail packers and curry blenders.
